These beautifully hand made saddles were first designed and created by our Company founders in 1870 and have set the standard by which all other saddles and saddle makers have been judged. There are two designs available in our Custom Saddle Line - The VSS CALIFORNIAN and the VSS SAN BENITO. Each is unique with a style of it’s own to meet and exceed the rider’s expectations.

The VSS Custom Californian

 

Each Fully Hand Crafted Visalia Custom Saddle comes standard with the following:

  • #1 Wood Tree with Top- Grain Rawhide Covers
  • Latigo Cinch Strap & Half-Breed Billet
  • Lined 4” Rear Cinch & Billets
  • Latigo Rope Strap (Tooled Rope Strap included in Full-Tool price)
  • Long Strings
  • Leather Covered Machine Sewn Stirrups
  • Standard Cantle, Pencil Roll or Cheyenne Roll
  • Choice of Leather colors: Natural Oil or Dark Oil. Rough Out in Natural only
  • Stainless Steel, Solid Brass or #1 U.S. Made Manganese Bronze Hardware
  • 5 year guarantee on Saddle Tree, under normal use.

The Base price for a Visalia Custom Saddle is $5,200.00.

  • Options with additional cost are indicated in the drop down menus, and will calculate
    automatically.

Visalia Custom Saddles require a 30% deposit to begin construction. Cashiers Check, Money Orders, Personal Checks accepted. Balance due upon completion, prior to shipping.

Turn around time for completion is 4 to 6 months.
