The Original Visalia Humane Bits are bits which are unique among loose-jaw bits and are recognized as the finest bits ever constructed. The offset hinge points permit jaws to swivel freely, protecting the horse's lips against pinch and chafing. This is the remarkable feature of these bits.

The swivel joint at the bottom bar insures free play of the bit cheeks, at the same time gives sturdy construction. The copper cricket stimulates saliva flow assuring a moist mouth condition while at the same time providing a vent for the natural nervousness of many horses.
